Oswin's Smartphone Compatible with 5 Operating Systems
"SINGAPORE-based Oswin Technology, which designs and produces a range of mobile wireless devices, has created what it says is the world's first smartphone compatible with five operating systems. The Zircon Axia A108, the Microsoft Windows CE operating system version, released on April 2 here, retails at $899 and is also touted as the smallest Microsoft Windows CE-based smartphone."
Yes you read that right, it's Windows CE, not Windows Mobile. It looks like an interesting device but it better sing and dance for $900.

This device has really got my interest. Choose your own OS, and run desktop apps. It says that your telecom operator could serve the desktop apps, but I wonder if it would be possible to serve them from your own desktop. That would be ideal

This is a very interesting, and smart idea from a manufacturing stand-point. They make one device, and can sell it to any OEM that wants to put any OS on it that they like. In theroy, I would expect something like this to reduce the overall cost of the handset. Very cool.
