Default FCC Names Websites Who Spam Cellphones

http://www.globetechnology.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20050208.gtcellspamfeb8/BNStory/Technology/

"The U.S. Federal Communications Commission on Monday published a list of websites that the agency says transmits unwanted e-mail and text messages to cellphones. Cellphone companies submitted the domain names to the FCC, and the list deals only with sites that send spam to cellphones. Sites on the list have 30 days to stop transmitting unwanted e-mail messages, unless the recipient has given permission to receive the message."

It will be interesting to see what becomes of this list after 30 days. I fully expect most of the sites on this list to continue spamming, just under a different domain name.
