Using MPX220 as Bluetooth modem with Axim x50v
After lurking here for some time and getting some VERY useful advice (thanks to everyone), I've finally got a problem that I can't find a solution for. Just got an MPX220 the other day (1.3fw) and am trying to use my Axim x50v to connect to the phone via Bluetooth to surf the Web. I've seen alot of suggestions as to how this can be done, but none of them are working.
Is there anything else I need to set on the phone besides turning on BT and ensuring that I can connect to GPRS from the phone? On the PPC, I've set up a BT dial-up connection using *99# to connect. The problem comes about when I actually go to connect and need to manually enter the connection string... the PPC hangs and needs a soft reset.
Maybe I should post this on a Dell board somewhere, just thought I'd try here since the MPX220 is what actually provides the connection.
Thanks in advance for all/any advice.
Jim
