Something to chew on . . .
I've been fixated on the possibility of an iPad, Mediapad, etc. but you have to wonder if Apple is wiling to do anything to upset the cash cows of laptops and iPhones/'Touch. What if Apple made a tablet that REQUIRES an iPhone 3G/3GS or 2G 'Touch to be used as the "CPU"? A dock on the backside of the tablet that would allow the iPhone/'Touch to sit flush with the back of the tablet. It would also use the "CPU"'s WiFi, BT, EDGE/3G for connectivity but also have a separate SIM slot for 'Touch users willing to sign up for a monthly data plan. 8" screen with 2 USB ports and an SD slot for added storage. Would you buy something like that ?
