Default i-mate releases WM 6.1 for Ultimate line
i-mate has released Windows Mobile 6.1 firmware for the Ultimate 6150, 8150, 8502, and 9502 smartphones. We'll see what this does. I'm hoping for at least a faster power on (wake up from suspend) and MicroSDHC support. I know it includes bluetooth mouse support and what seems to be a good Task Manager utility.

They also offer i-mate Go as a free download now which is a re-branded "Winterface" GUI.

I have not applied the WM 6.1 update or tried i-mate Go. I just saw 6.1 was available for my 6150 and the 8150 today. It's been available for the 8502 and 9502 for a week or two.

Has anyone tried the WM 6.1 update or i-mate Go for the Ultimate smartphones? I hope to install at least the WM 6.1 firmware tonight.
