No Data today: ATT Media Net or my BJII?
Last night my BJII was getting email, internet access etc.
Today, I can not get on the web, nor can I send/receive email. Under "Wireless Manager" for the phone section, it just says "On", normally it says "Media Net".
The home screen says E or 3G (not above the signal strength meter though, so I assume it is E or 3G for voice).
I did nothing to the phone between last night and this morning. Cycled power a few times today, pulled the sim card/battery, but nothing fixes the issue.
Is there a setting that somehow might have got switched, or is it most likely Media Net in my area is out? How can I find out if Media Net is out (ATT stores are closed for another 1 1/2 hours).
Thanks,
~Rob

Well,
Called AT&T to see what they could tell me. They had me change a setting under Connections > GPRS > AT&T IMS > Access point = wap.cingular
The original setting there was ims.cingular.
Works fine now. Just an FYI: the help desk person did say that "sometimes" they have an issue with being able to send email with that setting. He had me send an email (POP3) and it worked, so he said it should be fine.
