Default Exchange Activesync....what it can and can't do

Hi to all-

Recently my employer moved to Exchange 2007. I have a WM smartphone (WM 6) and an iPAQ 4150 (WM 2003). I would like to be able to sync both devices with one account on the Exchange server. I have two questions...

(1) If both devices are set to automatically sync inbox, calendar and contacts...Is this asking for trouble? I would expect both devices to be hitting the server at the same time. Maybe I should make the iPAQ only sync manually? Should they have differing "peak times"?

(2) WM 2003 (the iPAQ) does not have an option to sync tasks via the server, however I can sync tasks with my laptop using a cradle/cable. Is this just a limitation of WM 2003? I use tasks extensively within Outlook and ideally would like to manage my tasks with a combination of my smartphone, iPAQ, laptop and via Outook Web access.

Thanks in advance.
