Default Cheers for DeLorme's latest PPC-compatible GPS receiver.

Just bought a DeLorme Earthmate GPS LT-20, with US, Puerto Rico and Hawaii (maybe also Alaska) Street Atlas USA 6.0 software, for $60.00 US (w/ free shipping). Works great with my Toshiba Tecra A4 laptop and has all the features you could possibly need for US travel. Of course, to go to Hawaii and Puerto Rico, you will need a yacht or an airplane.

I also own a Garmin "NavTalk" CDMA cell phone. I primarily use it as a hand-held GPS unit. Have never used it as a cell phone. Garmin's E-Trex GPS receiver is smaller. For fun I established a waypoint on the NavTalk just west of the Azores for the lost continent of Atlantis. Does anyone know the GPS coordinates for Lemuria?? It is probably somewhere in the Indian Ocean just east of Mozambique.

Previously I have urged you guys to look at the British "Findware" website as the probable wave of the future in personal and vehicular GPS tracker-locators. Search on www.findware.co.uk.
