hx2490 - upgrade rom?
Hi, all, I have a quick question, hope someone can help!
I've had a niggling issue with my new hx2490. Whenever I power off the unit, if I am in a program such as a game that is running on full-screen, when I power back up the sound does not come back on. On older games that I've had on previous models, the program can crash out entirely. Is this a known issue? I've done google searches as well as searches on the forum here, but can't find any similar complaints.
I've downloaded the ROM update, but I'm not sure it would be of any help; when it's run it's check on the handheld, it confirms that I'd be upgrading from version "1.02.00.H(Windows CE 5.0)" to "1.02.00.H". On the surface, it looks as though it would just be reinstalling the same BIOS, but I'm confused as to whether the Windows CE bit is important or not.
Any advice would be gratefully recieved!
