Default Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 On Its Way

http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/w...oming-soon.aspx

"In the next few weeks, the Windows Mobile Device Center team will be launching an update to Windows Mobile Device Center 6.0. Aside from bug fixes and improvements over WMDC 6.0, the update (version 6.1) will include feature support for Windows Mobile 6 devices; this includes support for file synchronization on both touchscreen and non-touchscreen Windows Mobile 6 devices. We'll make a formal announcement here on the blog once the update is officially released.

Nick White at the Windows Vista Team Blog has given us the heads-up on an upcoming Windows Mobile Device Center update that adds file synchronization support for Windows Mobile 6 Standard Edition devices, as well as a collection of bug fixes that one can only hope offers Ed some resolution. We'll inform you of its availability later this month.

Yes. I am eagerly awaiting the ReadMe file that has the following:

Resolved: No longer randomly renames the user's partnership moving all of the desktop files to a new folder.
Resolved: No longer randomly deletes all of the users "My Documents" fiiles.
Resolved: No longer deletes about 75% of the users "My Favorites" in Pocket Internet Explorer or on the desktop.
Resolved: Stops asking the user for the device PIN and actually remembers it."

There are more, but I'd be happy with those.
