Blackberry Connect....can someone help???

Default Blackberry Connect....can someone help???
I was wondering if you guys could help me. I've been using a Blackberry for
the past four years and have always been pleased. My most recent experience
with the BB 8800 has been huge disappointment so far, and I have decided to
take it back and wait for the 8300 series to roll out. In the mean time I
have been provided with a Cingular 8525 or HTC "Hermes". According to
Cingy's site they do not offer BB Connect for this device, but I found this
article http://www.windowsfordevices.com/news/NS9552076853.html that says
that the 8525 in equipped with BB connect, but obviously not offered from
Cingy. I was wondering you know of any way, or if it's possible to point me
in the correct direction where I may find info on working around Cingy's
restraints, so that I may enjoy a Blackberry-like experience until the new
series is available??? Thanks for any help that you can provide.
