Default EMTAC Releases the Mini-S3: Their Smallest Bluetooth GPS Receiver Ever

http://emtac.com/products/bluetooth...moreminis3.html

"At a third smaller than its predecessor, the mini-S3 easily fits into your pocket or purse and is perfect for almost any application. From hiking and geocaching to vehicle and marine navigation, the mini-S3 shines in almost any setting."

In case you didn't know, EMTAC actually introduced the world's very first Bluetooth-compatible GPS receiver back in 2002. Now they're releasing their smallest receiver yet, sporting a number of nice features including a user-replaceable Lithium Ion battery, USB charging support, a rubberized anti-slip shell, and the ever-ubiquitous SiRFstarII chipset. This tiny little package is all made available for the tidy MSRP of $99.99.

But isn't the SiRFstarII chipset rather old? Even the SiRFstarIII chipset has been around nearly forever.

That's what I figured, judging by the name. I happened to miss the line right at the top of the linked page that said SiRF Star III. ops:

Also, it appears that there will be two versions: A standard version and a WAAS-enabled version. Link here.
