I have to admit, I'd use this just for the bragging rights, but it's so freakin' expensive. I wish that they would move to a $10 private use/$250 corporate license kind of model, but perhaps they make a fair amount off private sales to paranoids, spies, and the mafia.

In this day and age I really don't see the point of commercially available encryption software seeing as how (1) Most of the algorithms can be easily deciphered by agencies like the NSA. (2) Who's to say that this company is not a front for an intelligence agency?

1. In fact, there is _no way_ that one can decipher intercepted encrypted SecureGSM transmission if program code is not modified by the attacker.

2. I am here to say that:
SecureGSM is privatly held and self funded business, established in Melbourne Australia. We have invested our own dollars in the development of SecureGSM and Secustream and based our product on reference algorithms. We have nothing to do with AGENCIES and in fact HAS NOT EVEN MADE OUR SOURCE CODE available for review to those.
SecureGSM does just what it says to do : gsm voice encryption. no backdoors, no "calls to home", no "master key".
PLease do not say that someone is doing "wrong things" unless you are know what exactly is happening there. Give us some credits here. 8)

We do not sell to criminals and mafia. We are responsible people here and do our best to make sure that our software is not being anonymously sold. I have two kids and so does my buisness partner and we would sacrifice our profit if we had to decide between sale to untrusted client and making quick dollars.

everything is done by the books.

there is FREE evaluation version. not even 10$.

Also, I would like to point audience's attention to the fact that development of something like SecureGSM is _VERY_ expensive excercise(prohibitive).

our competitors sell similar products for EUR1000+. We are "cheap" guys here.
