Default TomTom Expands GPS Solutions to the Palm Treo Smartphone

http://www.palm.com/us/company/pr/n...pl?reqid=895895

"For Palm(R) Treo(TM) smartphone users and GPS enthusiasts, Palm Inc. (Nasdaq:PALM) today announced the Palm GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition, featuring new TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 software. Drivers using the new GPS Navigator with their Treo smartphones can rely on voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions to easily find their destinations as well as millions of points of interest, including gas stations, restaurants, parks, airports and more. TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 is available today exclusively for Palm's GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition."

GPS solutions are slowly approaching the ubiquity of Bluetooth or Wireless. Most high-end vehicles have them; phones have them; GPS has helped keep the PDA market moving forward. TomTom has always been one of the most respected names in the GPS industry and now they're helping to enable Palm Treo users with GPS capabilities with the help of a separate Bluetooth SiRF III-enabled receiver plus their TomTom Navigator 6 built specifically for the Palm Treo. The whole package is (supposedly) available via the Palm store for $299 (if it's not there now, it'll surely be available soon).

Default PDA battery

If anyone can help me out that would be great. I bought a replacement PDA battery for my PDA about a month ago from http://www.laptopsforless.com/pdahandheldbattery and it works great. Is there any reason to think that a replacement PDA battery would be any worse than the manufacturers replacement?
