Hey, how about us Power Users. Unfortunately since there are no prices or links to buy, they probably don't deal with single users.

Yeah... this appears to be an enterprise-only solution. Us single simpletons don't apply!

Default Proven Alternatives

Sentry 2020 is a proven security option for the Pocket PC. Solutions like Utimaco have locked up my device on a regular basis. I recommend Sentry 2020 for the Pocket PC.

I just did a quick skim of Sentry's site. It doesn't appear to provide encryption for internal data such as PIM databases.

I use Sentry 2020 as well. You're right, it doesn't provide protection of internal data, just the storage card. If anyone knows of one solution that does both, I'd appreciate it.
I do like Sentry 2020 for the fact it has a desktop version as well and you can move encrypted volumes back and forth between the pc and ppc. It hasn't corrupted a volume for me, and it is fast, but acts a bit flakey at times, refusing to start up.

I'm using Utimaco's SafeGuard PDA. It's an awesome bit of software, with one caveat: it does indeed lock up (requiring soft reset) my PDA from time-to-time, but only when I'm also running WisBar Advance. Even then, it seems to be down to what app you leave in the foreground when you switch off. If I leave ListPro active before switching off, it never locks up. No idea why, only to say that I like SafeGuard (and WisBar) so much, I put up with this annoyance.

With the Personal Edition 3.0 you get:

Device lock with a choice of three methods of unlock: Password/phrase, PIN/picture PIN entry or signature.

Optional internal database(s) encryption/decryption on lock/unlock.

Encrypted volume(s) creation with option of auto-mount with device unlock if sharing the unlock password.

Manual file/folder encryption with PC explorer encrypt/decrypt companion plus option of Pocket PC self-decrypting header.

For each of the above features you will find a lot of really useful options that show great thought and attention to detail. I won't go into them here, or I'd start a review, but if anyone wants any specific questions answered, just ask away.

Usual disclaimer: no connection with company, just a satisfied user.

Thanks for the info, I'll try it out. I like the idea of one password automounting everything.
As for locking, as long as it doesn't hard reset the device. And btw, everything seems to crash with Wisbar. As useful as it is, I've switched to MagicTask.
