Default TextMaker 2006 Beta

http://www.softmaker.com/english/tmp06_en.htm

"When TextMaker was released for the Pocket PC three years ago, it was an overnight sensation: a full-featured word processor with the capabilities of a desktop word processor and perfectly adapted to Pocket PCs. If you thought there wouldn't be a way to improve on TextMaker 2002, think again... TextMaker 2006 for Pocket PCs is here and offers a huge array of improvements."

If you go to their site, you'll see a list of at least 18 new features in TextMaker 2006, including the ability to open files from OpenOffice.org, the addition of an AutoShapes drawing later and much more. The current beta version is free but expires August 31, 2006. At that point, they will either release the final product or a newer beta with a later expiration date.

Downloaded, Tested breifly. Looks fantastic. This is what Pocket Word should be!

Likes 'true' VGA setting right out of the box too!

Nah. MS is incapable. Besides, maybe this has too many features for an out of box machine. Although you'd think MS could at least convert documents properly.
very nice new version. Seems faster and more responsive than Textmaker 2004. i will upgrade.
