Default O2 Xda Atom Comparison Pictures

http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=2929

Arne Hess has just received a brand new toy - the O2 Xda Atom, which is being sold in Australia, New Zealand, and select parts of Asia. If you wish to appreciate just how small this Pocket PC Phone Edition is, check out the pictures available at the::unwired.

I am currently using an Atom as my primary device and I absolutely love it. The form factor is outstanding, the audio quaility is terrific, speed is impressive.... I just love it.

I did have a little trouble with Cingular not playing nice with it but I've pretty much chalked it up to the local network here in Dallas. I was up in Minneapolis last week and signal was terrific - and had EDGE up there! GPRS down here

I should have a review on my site next month on it.

I don't absolutely love it, it has flaws. I wrote a review here:

Anyone ever wish they knew how to get all the good toys that Arne gets?

I like the CPU, but I don't like the button layout or the screensize.

Decisions, decisions...

I guess these are two things that I do like about it. The screen to me is readable and useable and the simple button layout is a nice change from other devices.

That's the beauty of the market right? Everyone can find a device that they like!

I've been using a JAMin for about six weeks and screensize is not an issue. It doesn't have the CPU of the Atom but it certainly gets the job done. And I actually prefer the nice, bright 2.8" screen to the somewhat washed-out 4" screen I was using.
