Default Curitel PT-L1800: Redefining Remote

http://www.phoneyworld.com/newspage.aspx?n=1798

"Now Curitel has come out with an interesting idea to make DMB handsets all the more popular. Remember TV's in the olden times? No remote controls, which meant you get up each time you wish to change channels. Since today's handsets have satellite access, they can tune into a score of channels. Once you set up the T.V. phone at a position that is comfortable to watch from, it is very irritating to lift it up, use the small keypad to flick the channel and set it up again. There could even be reception trouble since its not exactly fun to set up the antenna each time to receive the best possible transmission. Now the PT-L1800 comes with its own remote control. This lets you set up the handset on the table, put your legs up and use the remote control to effortlessly flick channels."

Here, we have the Curitel PT-L1800: a remote-sized TV phone with its own remote control. It's half innovative, and half "W?BIC!" (Why? Because I Can!). Surely, your lifestyle doesn't demand the need for a remote for such a device, unless you absolutely adore watching TV on a tiny screen from 10 feet away. :? But, at least it has a TV/PC-out connection, so if you hook up the PT-L1800 to a large display, that remote becomes infinitely more useful.

I suppose the next question after drooling is... is this a Pocket PC? There's no mention of it anywhere... :?:

I like my screens to be somewhat larger than the remote that controls them.
