Default FlexiSkin Now Available for JASJAR

http://www.boxwave.com/products/fle...-jasjar_723.htm

"BoxWave's FlexiSkin is a new soft case that gives you complete usability of your i-mate JASJAR while it's protected! It comes in your choice of five colors: Frosted Clear, Future Blue, Coral Pink, Aluminum Grey, and Smoke Grey. This lets you customize the color of your device!"

If you've been waiting for a skin-type case to come out for your JasJar, you can now pick one up for around $27 at Boxwave. Since the JasJar is big enough on it's own, a slim case option is much appreciated!

I wonder if this will cover the dents I managed to put in the cover of my JasJar???. Only one way to find out! 0X

Update: It looks like they'll be covered but only because juding from the screenshots on their webpage you would not be able to open up the device to use the keyboard without removing the skin. Anybody actually using one of these?

Is it just me, or are the cutouts in the skin not even lined up with the device? These are publicty shots, are they not?

I saw the same shots on Boxwave's website. They better fix the skins and the pictures, or people will undoubtedly have second thoughts on it!

That's what I was thinking, too. The cut out for the conferencing video camera on the bezel is way off. I thought it was just the one pic showing how the skin slides on, but if you look at the other pics, the cutout is off there too. The skin also seems too small for the HTC's screen. Not the best publicity shots!

I think these things would be good to have; the HTC is just too slick and I nearly drop it pulling it out of my pocket. I just wish they made some kind of built-in camera protection and perhaps a means to attach a lanyard.

Yeah I was going to pay up for it until I noticed the obvious misfitting of the skin. Sad...

I am really interested in this skin, I may send them a letter. I can't believe boxwave would put out something with such an obviously poor fit.

Those silicon skins can be slid around to get the correct alignment. The one I have for my SMT5600 used to have alignment issues, but now it lines up perfectly every time I put it on.

Looks like they are two skins that allow the screen to be opened and rotated.

I agree they should redo the photos and get the alignment better!!!

Hi Everyone,

It looks like the JASJAR FlexiSkin image on our website caused some confusion 8O

I want to reassure you that the FlexiSkin is a form-fitting case that is designed to work perfectly with your device. The culprit was the carboard cutout of the JASJAR that was used to fill in the FlexiSkin

Our graphics designer is preparing updated images and we'll have them on the website soon.

Thank you for your feedback, it's greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Cho
