Default Updated Microsoft Reader Now Available!
An update Microsoft Reader (v. 2.4.1) is now available at http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/ppc.asp.

What's new?
  • Windows Mobile 5.0 activation support
    Ability to install Reader to removable media and retain ability to activate without copying files.
    Ability to install Reader to removable media without having to copy font files
    Shortcuts are now created at install time assuring that the shortcut points to your install on removable media.

Anything that I need to know before I install?
  • On WM 5.0 you will notice that you will now have the choice about where to install the activation CAB that is downloaded during activation. Use the device location or activation will not be sucessful.

    Existing ROM installations are proving difficult to work around and so it is recommended that you hold off installing until we have defined steps established early next week.
