Default PDA Stadtplandienst Offers German City Maps with Aerial Imagery

http://www.pocketland.net/product.p...c&prod_id=28466

"PDA Stadtplandienst or, 'PDA City Map Service,' brings detailed, quick-loading maps of German cities to your PDA. GPS compatibility allows you to fix your map position in realtime. Prominent landmarks and other details that many paper maps leave out are included. Information about places of interest and local services are also on hand. With the PDA City Map Service you know exactly where you are and where you need to go. This version of PDA Stadtplandienst includes aerial imagery of the city. Toggle between the street map and aerial views with a tap of the stylus. Looked-up addresses are also marked in the aerial view."

PDA Stadtplandienst (today's tongue twister) offers German Pocket PC users a huge range of German maps complete with aerial imagery. You can get all this for 18.40 from Pocketland.net. A trial version is available if you wish to test it first.

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has experience with this software? I recently purchased PDA Stadtplandienst for Frankfurt for use on my E-Ten M600.

Whenever I run the Frankfurt program, it runs the Berlin demo 3.A, and the switch map function gives me the error beep. Going to Options and selecting About to see if I can enter the serial number gives me the message "An unsupported operation was attempted."

I have a support request into the company but have yet to hear back other than a FAQ which doesn't seem to address my issue. Anyone have any experience?

Thanks
Dent
