Default Orneta Checkers - Free for a Limited Time

http://www.orneta.com/products/checkers/

"The object of checkers is simple, capture all of your opponents pieces by jumping them, or block them so that they cannot be moved. Your checkers pieces may only move away from you, to a connected diagonal square that is unoccupied. If an opponents checkers piece occupies a diagonally connected square, you may capture your opponents checkers piece by jumping to the next diagonal space in the same direction if unoccupied. If you can move one of your checkers pieces to the other end of the board, it will become a king, and can move forward and reverse."

Orneta Checkers 1.5 has just been released, and for a limited time, you can grab it for free from Handango. Separate versions have been made available, so if you're running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, click here. Windows Mobile 5.0 users, click here. Simply add the product to your cart, enter the promotion code, 54CAAEB, and hit "Recalculate". The code is valid for the first 1000 users (or until the 31st of October), so hurry if you want to take advantage of the offer. If you're unfortunate enough to miss out, the game is still available for $9.95. [Affiliate]

Default Weak Game?

I downloaded it and ran it on my iPAQ 5550. It works fine, but I'm not sure the game is that strong. I played in Expert Mode, which takes a long time between moves, and still found it giving me double jump opportunities. I'm no checkers expert, so don't expect a challenging game.

Well that stinks.. I like to play games with my fiance while we wait for the food to get to the table when eating out.

IR battleship is realy fun. IR cheackers would be really cool to but I could live with 2 on one device.
Oh well.

I've had the ir battleship since my first pocket pc. It is part of the microsoft entertainment pack.

Handmark's also supports ir if you are looking for a nicer version.

I didn't see any message about having to register using their Web site. I got the registration code in the E-mail, typed it in the registration screen on my iPAQ and the game played fine.

Did you use the same name when "purchasing" the product that you do in your Owner Information?
