Cingular You Say? hw6500 For You!
"As has been expected for a long time, Cingular has announced that it will be offering the iPAQ hw6500 series. However, despite this announcement, it has not revealed exactly when this is going to happen. "
Unfortunately, when these devices come out, it almost seems like OLD news to us in the PPC Community. Of course that lets you do the ultra-cool "heard it" eye-roll when someone starts talking about this new device. Amaze your friends, Annoy Your Enemies, Be informed that the hw6500 series will eventually come to Cingular here in the U.S.
Edit - Breaking News! For those of you who just can't wait until it comes here, we've gotten reports (and it appears) that Handit.com is offering the unit for �489.00. Rushing to buy it anyone?

More like warn your friends as this device will be DOA.
No WM5.0 upgrade. Which means you will have to explain to your friends why it uses up all its memory on one hand, then loses all its data because they forgot to plug it in last night. :roll:

The site has the english version for 421 Euros when you go through the checkout process...by my calculation that would be around $500. Can anyone confirm this? The cheapest ebay's got it for is around $700.
