Default OpenNetCF.org Releases Smart Device Framework v1.4

http://www.opennetcf.org/sdf

"The Smart Device Framework enriches and extends the .NET Compact Framework by providing a rich set of classes and controls not available in the .NET Compact Framework."

v1.4 of the much-adored Smart Device Framework has just been released. So if you're a mobile developer, you'll probably want to check it out at OpenNetCF.org.

Is there a link on that site that explains what's in this package?

According to Peter Foot, these are the improvements and fixes in the new release:

Resolved installation and deployment bugs from version 1.3
 Improvements to GPS code
OpenNETCF.Win32.TimeZoneCollection modified to work on both "raw" Windows CE and Windows Mobile devices
Fixes to some of the control designers
Additions and fixes for OpenNETCF.Net.AccessPoint and OpenNETCF.Net.Adapter classes
Numerous bug fixes throughout OpenNETCF.Threading and OpenNETCF.Windows.Forms namespaces

I grabbed this from Smartphone Thoughts, which also has a thread discussing SDF v1.4.

Thanks Darius, though I was actually looking for more of a complete overview of what this package offers. I clicked around on various links on their web site but couldn't seem to find that out, though it's probably somewhere obvious.

The smart device framework is a great project for sure, but i am not impressed with the 1.4 upgrade. i think i will skip this version and install the next one

There's always the SDF namespace library. But I'm guessing you've already checked that out?
