Heh, I've been emailing these guys for months asking them if they were planning a PPC release (the Palm version looks GREAT). Anyway, they never responded to a single email even though "We want to hear from you."
Oh well  I'm off to download and give it a spin.

I just looked at their interactive demo. Am I missing something or is this just another mind mapping program? There are already several desktop programs that do this and two such programs for PPC, most of which are excellent. If you're using the desktop version of Inspiration, it's great that they now have a PPC version, but if you're new in the market, you'll want to check out the competition before making a choice. I use Mind Manager on the desktop (they have their own PPC version as well) and Pocket Mindmap on the PPC.

It does appear to mind mapping software, and the desktop version appears to considerably less expensive than Mind Manager ($70 versus $230 - $350). Definately worth considering, along with the others, if you are looking for mind mapping software. There's also an open source project out there for mind mapping, but it's still got a ways to go.

I came across Inspiration a few years ago, and as Jason pointed out, people in the education field are very high on the program.
It is essentially a mind mapping software, but it is geared towards students and educators as opposed to the other PPC mind mapping programs which have a business environment slant to them.
I'm definitely gonna check this out... very exciting... hopefully it has a better interface than Pocket Mindmap.

Hmmmm... I have a 4-year-old who just hasn't shown much interest in mind mapping programs of late. 8O
(The linked website indicates it's for 4th graders - adult)

Inspiration for Pocket PC
I have been using Mind Manager on the desktop and PocketMindMap on the PPC for years. I'm a fan of mind mapping for brainstorming, writing, planning small projects, and even preparing lectures. I just downloaded the trial for both desktop and PPC version of Inspiration. The interface is much more intuitive, and definitely cooler that what I've been using! I wish I had known about Inspiration before I bought my programs, since it is much less expensive. It may not have some of the more advanced features that Mind Manager has, but I seldom use those features.
I can't justify buying another mindmapping program just because it looks good, but for those who haven't bought the others yet, this looks like a cost effective solution. I like the ability of drawing shapes for each topic and group formatting.
