Default PDAgold Reviews the Acer n50 Pocket PC

http://www.pdagold.com/articles/detail.asp?a=237

"Are you looking for a high-performing, elegant device with large memory, two expansion slots, nice QVGA display, and support for Bluetooth and Wifi? If yes, you should not miss the new Acer n50, which offers all that and will not bleed your budget. Acer n50 is the manufacturers first attempt at the high-end category and it looks like it may be a successful one. Read on for more details in this big review."

PDAgold has provided, once again, a very detailed review - it covers the device down to the gritty details, so if you've been wondering about the Acer n50, this review is a must-read.

A 2750 doesn't have VGA and it is considered a "high end pda" - and then some.

Shame about VGA, would have been nearly perfect for ME otherwise (I realise this may not be what other people want!)

I think 128 vs 64Mb memory can be argued about, and 624 vs 520 vs 400 MHz, but the only real recent innovation with PPC's has been VGA screens. Everything else is just a little more or little better.

If its not VGA its not high end. The HP 2750 is a nice try, but as above many people say, "why no VGA, I might as well get a Dell with a VGA screen, even though it has less memory, a smaller battery, no fingerprint scanner, no flip cover and is not an HP etc". VGA is today's defining characteristic of high end.

I'm sure it wasn't intentional. He must have had problems with submitting. Anyway, I've since deleted the extras.

Yes, sorry. It seems I ran into a database problem. All the links to Smartphonethoughts also disappeared, and when I tried to delete the duplicate posts it said I can only delete my own posts. It was very bizarre, like in the twilight zone 0X
