Well, actually, it could be useful for ham radio operators because solar flux and status of the ionoshpere affects shortwave radio reception.

Space WX is usefull....
Space WX pretty much dictates how well radio waves propagate on this planet. Amateur Radio ops use this type of data all the time. Satellite operators (both amatuer and big time....like iridium and other communciations satellites) use this data as well.
Would I pay 15 bucks? No. I can get all of this in a AvantGO page. Sure, it may not be as pretty, but it will work.
