Default "Re-Certified" Toshiba e405 for $149 at woot!

http://www.woot.com/

First of all, I'll have you know that I do not make a habit of going around and saying "woot!" to people. For those of you who aren't familiar with them, "woot!" is a site that sells one item per day - usually closeouts and generally cheap stuff. Today, they happen to be selling the Toshiba e405, which is a pretty nice little device. Let me refresh your memory on the specs:

Processor: Intel PXA261 Xscale processor at 300MHz
 Main memory: 64MB SDRAM; 3.3V
Program memory: 16MB CMOS Flash ROM
 NAND Flash memory: 32MB
Display: 3.5 TFT transreflective color display
 Resolution: (16 bit) 240 x 320 (portrait)
 Light: Backlight fluorescent lamp
Colors: 65,536 (64K) colors; 5 step Brightness control (by Software)
Expandability:1 SD (Secure Digital) card slot (3.3V)
Operating System: Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 Professional Edition
 Dimensions (LxWxH): 4.9 x 3.0 x 0.4
 Weight: 4.6oz (w/Stylus & battery)
Condition: Recertified by Toshiba - 90 day Toshiba warranty

If you're in the market for a cheap Pocket PC, you should maybe consider this - it's an excellent price even for a refurb. Better hurry, though - the offer is only good for today - the link will be for something else tomorrow.

Sold out, and the fact that they won't ship outside the US was depressing.

Guess us Canucks can't get a good deal when we want

It doesn't take long for a deal that great to leave us... however, I wouldn't be suprised if some ebay powerseller didn't order a few and will have them on ebay starting at $149...

I forgot, did Toshiba release a WM2003 Second Edition update for this device? If so, $149 for a SE device would be a great deal.

The best line in the FAQ:
Will I receive customer support like I'm used to?
No. Well not really. If you buy something you dont end up liking or you have what marketing people call buyers remorse, sell it on ebay. Its likely youll make money doing this and save everyone a hassle. If the item doesn't work, find out what your doing wrong. Yes, we know you think the item is bad, but its probably your fault.
