On the contrary, this is not in reference to valves on oil rigs, left-handed spanners, or any other fictional stuff you want to pull out of your nether regions. This is an acronym for Quadruple Video Graphics Array, which of course is in reference to LCD screen resolutions, so it is very relevant.
