Default What geek news sites do you read?

I was just wondering what other news sites people here read to get their daily does of tech news. I've been wanting to find some more sites to read with more variety, but I wasn't sure where to start, so I thought I'd ask in here. Currently I read Brighthand, Geek.com, Slashdot (I get the daily headlines in my e-mail, and currently have positive Karma!), and occasionally PalmInfocenter, in addition of course to PPCT. I want to find more general tech/geek news sites like /. and to an extent, Geek.com. Ohh, and if anyone else reads/posts on /., post your screen name, mine is Falstaff1596.

Add gizmodo.com and news.com to your list and you'll have my daily tech rounds.

Ever since I've got RSS set up, I've gone insane. I don't have energy to put links here, but here's a rough list, and you can Google for most of them:

Akihabara News
Ars Technica
BBC News Technology
C|NET News.com
DMT
Engadget
Geekzone
Gizmodo
Groklaw
infoSync
InfoWorld
kuro5hin
MobileTracker
MobileWhack
mozillaZine
MTekk
Phone Scoop
PPCW
Slashdot
SPT
The Gadgeteer
Wired News

... all of them, every single day. Plus my non-tech news... 8O

I think your news addiction could also be called "Thesis Avoidance".

First off, that's nowhere near my total set of RSS feeds. I have about twice that list. That's just the techie ones.

Anyway, I'm getting better at it. It used to take me about 3-4 hours a day for the first couple days - I can do it in about 90 minutes now. I don't know what I'll do when the fall rolls around, though, and everything becomes busy again. Hopefully I'll get even more efficient. RSS aggregation helps a lot...

Kevin - I'm using NewsGator. Fantastic tool. 8)

Kati - you're probably right. :|

Hey, Suhit, want to talk about your RSS list? :P

My RSS list has gotten out of control as Janak knows so well. I am listing my entire RSS feed list here (and the ones in bold are the tech ones). BTW, I had to reduce the font of the following list to keep this from becoming the longest post on PPCT. ;-)
