Default PalmOne Using The Pocket PC Operating System?

Is PalmOne readying a Tungsten with the Pocket PC operating system on it? It does seem appropriate they would pick one that has functionality from two years ago given the below image is Pocket PC 2002 before EUU3 was released.

Click on the above image for a larger view. I believe this came from an add in a paper where they are always photoshopping things instead of using actual images.

I have seen similar screw-ups in person. A local Office Depot had a display of PalmPDAs behind individual plexiglass covers and on each cover was a sticker proudly stating "Windows Mobile Powered".

Oy!

Check out my fun with Photoshop after I allegedly attempted a Windows Mobile 2003 upgrade on my Samsung i700 Pocket PC Phone.

Actually, I believe WM 2K3 SE added support for "square" displays as well as VGA.

I have not received any kind of information from anybody about this at all, but it's my opinion that there will NEVER be a PalmOne device. They'll go bankrupt before they did that.
