HP iPAQ 41xx WiFi Update Posted
On the heels of the recent ROM update for the iPAQ 4100 series devices is a new WiFi update. There appears to be exactly one new feature: "Adds support for seamless roaming when roaming across access points within same subnet." If you've needed this feature, now may be the time to update -- just realize that you need the new ROM first.

1,2,3 Not Me!
I'm not even installing the update posted last week since I haven't had any noticable problems so far with my 4100 as it is.

Okay, I'll go...updated, no problems, or perceived benefits either...yet.
I installed the new ROM update a few days ago and had zero issues. In fact it even took about half the expected time (20 minutes) to complete the update using USB connection via ActiveSync.
The only noticeable difference (so far) in 1.00.14 is that the bubble popup for wireless connection now uses the wording "Turn on/off flight mode" instead of the "Turn on/off wireless" message.

Yes, mine does that already. The update on my new 4150 is dated February 26, 2004. HP is just releasing this update for past customers. That's a long time. I don't think we'll see WM2003se updates till end of year after the new handhelds have been out.
