Tablet PC 1.0
No, this is not about Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. Tablet PC 1.0 is an open source .NET CF application by Vladimir Ralev that enables you to use your Pocket PC as a touchpad/graphics tablet/keyboard/mouse for your desktop. As an avid Wacom tablet user, all I can say is: "Wow!". If you feel the same: the linked page includes lots of information on this application, including a code review.

Cool, will have to try this again. I tried the first alpha/beta version and it was incredibly buggy, but a good idea.

That's great. I've often wondered if this would be possible because from time to time a graphics pad would be really handy.
Since I just happen to have a spare PPC I'll have to check it out.

This works extremely well. Rather than going through the trouble of setting up a LAN connection, I'm just using the web server on my desktop and connecting via my host name. I'm using it right now with MS Paint. I'm having a lot more difficulty using it in text mode - it'll type ok for a while, then the letters won't work, and I can't get the focus back to my desktop keyboard.

Whats the difference between this one and the latter link? I downloaded it after seeing that article and it's version 1.0, was that a beta?

They updated that page on codeproject too...they don't want people downloading old versions.
