Default Vaja Releases XDA II / iMate2 T-Buron III Case

http://www.vajacases.com/affiliate&ID=100

Vaja is always cranking out new cases, and this one looks as good as ever. If you're an owner of a iMate2 or XDA2, this case is for you. I'm still not sold on the "open screen" concept - isn't the screen the one thing you want to protect?

 Push Through Buttons system
 Camera lens cutout
 Charge & Sync cutout
 Front padded
 Headphone access
 Steel mesh protector
 Fits: XDAII / MDAII / Qtek 2020 / iMATE 2 [Affiliate]

It is. Here you have a $110 case that cant protect your screen at all. What a deal.

The original XDA vaja i-volution case was very nice, and it has a cover. Sadly, they think that covers are no good... :?

Agreed...for $110 I don't think I should comprise anything. BTW I have an i-volution case for my 2215...I love it!

I actually like this case alot. But $110.00 is a bit high IMHO. As for not having a cover, that doesn't bother me at all. Right now, I'm using a Krussell case and I cut out the plastic that covers the screen. I didn't like trying to tap on top of it.

Actually, you have to try one of these cases before you make that conclusion. The padding around the screen recesses it and prevents it from being touched while in your pocket or if the PDA is dropped on the floor. The XDA 1 version worked like a charm for me. There's also a huge advantage: it is much easier to hold the phone to your ear if there is no cover. Not only that, you can trivially one-hand the device out of your pocket if you're getting an incoming call. Finally, the padding prevents your face oils from touching the screen.

In any case, Vaja sells covered cases as well, so I'm not sure what your comment above means. Or did they discontinue them?
