Default PPCT's New Media Folder

One of the most frequent requests we've gotten in our forums is the ability to upload images so that they can be embedded in posts. The problem, of course, is implementing it in a fashion where users have the maximum flexibility without eating up the server's hard drive space. Our PHP guru, Fabrizio, implemented a solution that does just that. The Digital Media Thoughts forums have had it for some time, and now we have it too -- the all-new Media Folder! :rock on dude!:

If you're a Pocket PC Thoughts Full or Deluxe Subscriber, you now have a new icon in your posting interface. Simply click "Add/Remove files", and a wizard will pop up that makes it easy to upload images and generate BBcode for the images you've uploaded. (Note that it's limited to only media, and 10MB at that... this way, we can keep our server sane yet give you guys the functionality you need.)

If you're not a subscriber, now is as good a time as any to join -- not only do you get the all-new media folder, but you also get discounts, the mobile forums, automatic enrollment in contests, and more!

Awesome! I was thinking about asking about that a few months ago when DMT launched.

Yup -- I use Firefox daily, and if any bugs are exhibited when using Firefox, I ping Fabrizio.

It's not going to rename anymore, until the time it possibly replaces the "original" Mozilla browser. They did a comprehensive trademark search this time around.

Nice, now I don't have to upload to my server for every little thing.
