OK, fess up. Who here has a Lifebook P1000 series?
What a sweet little machine! I'm looking for a replacement for my iPaq... except that I think I'm done with trying to make a Pocket PC replace a laptop. I'm thinking, maybe I want a laptop to replace my Pocket PC.
This little doozy weighs 2.7 lbs with the 9 hour battery, with a 1024 x 600 touch screen, and it runs WindowsXP. Measures about 6" by 9" by 1.4". Costs about $1200-1300 depending on the options.
Cnet reviewers weren't impressed (those Crusoe processors are kind of slow)--but every user-review on C-Net, e-pinions, and a couple of blogs say that they love the thing!
I had a Jornada 720 before and loved it, but the biggest problem was software availability. I wouldn't have to worry about that with this thing, would I?
