Banish the XP language bar? How do you stop the XP language bar from loading to your task bar on startup?

Right click on it -> Settings -> Language Bar -> Uncheck top box.

Should work, that's how mine went bye-bye on my two computers.

You turned off "Show the Language bar on the desktop"? It shouldn't come back after that. You'll have to do this once per user.

		| Does anyone actually use the language bar? | In addition to the others' comments, it's helpful if you need to be able to type in multiple languages (which I haven't had to do, although some of my friends have).
