Default High-Resolution Pocket Informant Screen Shots

http://www.pocketinformant.com/p_po...rmant.php?tab=2

Web Information Solutions, the makers of super-PIM app Pocket Informant, have published some Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition screen shots on their site, and they look utterly fantastic! 8O The fonts, the icons, the whole UI looks 1000% better than what we have now. I'm a sucker for attractive, functional user interfaces, so resolution jump is a very, very big deal for me. Microsoft was far too slow in making the move, but I'm thrilled they finally did it!

Dangit dangit dangit! I just told myself I won't buy a new PPC device for 6 months or so...but now after seeing the new PI with high-res support... and I'm stuck with PI low-res... :grumble:

Can't wait for HP to come out with a high-res screen in a 4100 series body!

BTW, I really appreciate the location of the new calendar view selector, since I'm left-handed my hand used to block the screen when changing calendar views.

The one thing that still wasn't added was the Alarm Notes sort by modified date option... :? but I'm not complaining! Great job as always Alex! 8)

(Sorry for going smily overboard ops: )

Default That does it

That does it ... VGA for my next device. The ASUS 7300 is up on my list. The Jornada has been a real pal. But it's time for it to go out to pasture.

Off hand, I hope that PI will support picture taking DIRECTLY from within the application (ala ASUS 7300 camera).

Has this happened to anyone else? You install PI to your 240*320 WM2003FE device, fire up PI and are amazed by the size of it? Even the non-calendar views look bigger to me.

:confused totally:

I think Ctmagnus was referring to looking at PI at 320x240 on his device after seeing those lovely screenshots..........
