Screenshots of Windows Mobile 2003, Second Edition How do these guys get their hands on these things so early? PDA France already seems to have a build of WM2003SE running on an e805 and they've snapped a ton of screenshots.

Take a look at those icons, and the font size. They also have another shot showing the Control Panel applet where you can change the size of the text.

So what is that advanced sounds? I don't have that on my h2215. Is that new, or is it a Phone edition thing?

Apparently they added an alarm clock function too.. "Clock & Alarms"

I honestly am not too happy with the fact that they're adding the XP-Style MRU for programs on the start menu. I like it on my desktop, but I'd rather not have that clutter on the start menu on my PPC.

 | Well, I'm assuming that you have the option to get rid of anything you don't want in the Start Menu...just as we always have with Pocket PC's under Settings -> Menu. |

They didn't add any MRU. Its been there since PPC 2002 (maybe 2000? I don't recall). Its just instead of being tiny icons on top, its now text at the bottom, unless you're in landscape mode where it reverts back to the old method.

Sorry... sorry... the demons that formed after getting burned made me say it. |

Looks to me like HP is falling behind here. Unless, they have a slew of new units in the wings just waiting for the second edition version.

Got my e805 in 11/03. Loving every minute of it.
