DVD +R ....DVD-R......Argh!

Deemo Intellectual Join Date: Nov 2006 Posts: 223		DVD +R ....DVD-R......Argh! Well I thought I was ready to upgrade my PC to an HP a540n. The only "potential" problem is that it has everything I need except a multi format DVD burner. HP has stuck with +R. Problem is I won't know until after I buy it if my Sony DVD player will accept +R....what if it only accepts -R??? The only other minor problem is that I would like CATV in for PVR capabilities. I don't want to shell out for another video card right after I buy it. Is a cheap TV tuner card the solution? Any recommendations??
