Serial or Parallel network adapters?

foldedspace Thinker Join Date: Mar 2004 Posts: 332		Serial or Parallel network adapters? I am redoing an old Compaq 166 to give away to a friend that can't afford a pc right now. The thing is, the motherboard has no PCI or ISA slots, and no USB. The only slot on the motherboard is what looks like a proprietary one for the modem. So my question is this; Are there any adapters that will let me utilize the serial and/or parallel ports to get some kind of expandability? I'd really like to find a serial NIC...
