Default pocketnow reviews Dell's Axim X3i

http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?...=reviews&id=326

"Dell has entered the arena of WiFi-equipped devices with its Axim X3i, part of the line of Dell handhelds that succeeds the X5 line, retired several months ago. In my mind, Dell is synonymous with quality, innovation, and superb tech support. Does the X3i deliver? Read on to find out."

I have to say that I've read a lot of reviews, but I haven't seen very many that have such a high-quality set of pictures. If you haven't read an Axim X3i review, or are interested in seeing it from every angle, you should definitely check Brandon's review out.

My comments:

1) what is that theme? It's awesome!

2) The back of the unit looks like something out of Tron, with all the bumps.

but wait, what is this? Is that the Bluetooth logo on that antenna?

Yes! It IS the Bluetooth logo. Why would Dell include this logo on a WiFi-only device? In my best estimation, I surmise that Dell plans to add another X3 to their line, one with Bluetooth and WiFi. We'll have to wait and see for that.
But the other one ain't the WiFi logo. :confused totally: Maybe (probably a long shot) this doesn't meet the WiFi consortium specs?

One slight problem... The cradle... Is it really the same as the X5?

If it is, I'm so there when the bluetooth one comes out! I love my X5, but an all in one Dell Device makes me all a flutter!

The X5 and X3 cradles are similar in that they both have the same translucent material and offer two slots for the battery and the device. So essentially the same cradle just suited to fit the respective device.
