Your Internet Connection In reference to my post here, I would like to find out exactly how many PocketPCThoughts people use which internet connection method, or, which is the most popular.

			 Hmm....

Mine is mostly to discriminate who uses Bluetooth and who uses Wi-Fi.

So, I guess the polls can co-exist with eachother.

 Edit: Besides, he/she didn't include OC3!!!

OC3 is for businesses, I highly doubt anyone at home has this connection. Maybe you should have done a poll to see what type of internet people use on their mobile device.

And, YOU didn't include WIRELESS Highspeed Internet connection either.

I should do a poll to see how many people ever knew you can have wireless highspeed connection at home without using a satellite.  |

My set up is pretty nice. Cable internet with a max speed of 500 kbps. (ive gotten that high) DLINK 802.11g router. My computer is connected with an eithernet cable with a max speed of 100mbps web/file transfer. (integrated mobo nic) I dont have gigabit because i dont share files on my network. My pda uses the 802.11 g/b spectum and surfs very fast anywhere on my 2 acre property and at my neighbors house.

Uhhh - T1s and a T3s are also for businesses as well. Besides, with modern DSL speeds, T1s are becoming less and less common. The most common reason for choosing a T1 over DSL would be for web hosting where greater upload speeds are desireable. From a download standpoint, many DSL connections are actually faster than a T1. My DSL download speed is 4 Mbps for instance - much faster than a T1. |
