EMEA includes the UK. My point about the language on the keyboard was pure speculation - I'm sure there are other reasons.
Maybe the keyboard only has so many uses of the letter "u" and those Brits put it in places it doesn't belong, like colour. :rotfl:

Not funny, I was born and partly Raised in England, and to let you know, it's spelled with a U. Just like we spell tire, tyre. The americans couldn't help it that they didnt invent it so they made it different. So now, over here (N. America) it is acceptable both ways, or should be. Whenever I spell colour the right way, it is percieved differently by different individuals.)

On A Sidenote:
And you know its not nice to edit some one elses writing, this is a general chatting forum about pocket pcs and so perfect spelling and grammar is not necessarily needed. You wouldnt like it if I edited your post, now would you?

Take it easy, Honda. It's called "linguistic drift", and it's a natural phenomenon. I seriously doubt some colonial American said "Filthy English 'U'! Stop infesting our words! Out with ye!".

As time goes on, accents change from their historical origins, and the spelling of some words changes to match how the locals actually say the words. The same thing happened with "real English" when it was evolving from its Saxon roots. I don't see any Germans jumping up and down saying "Give us back our 'U's!"

 What is the matter with that, you know quite well where I am coming from. U is part of many words, like honour, neigbour, etc. This is how it is originally so I dont know why you guys are poking fun.

Ed didn't edit it, and I didn't edit it. I don't know who edited it. The only time I edit a user post and don't put a disclaimer is when I fix bad quote tags or fix spelling/grammar/capitalization in post titles. Though Janak and I also might spell-correct front page posts when necessary...

If someone edited your post to "correct" it, I'm sure it was meant as a favor, not as a rude comment on your posting style.
