Break the Two-Partnership Barrier
Among the various limitations of ActiveSync that have confounded me over the years is the fact that a Pocket PC can establish a partnership with only two PCs. Fortunately, Pocket PC software developers have risen to the challenge and come up with the tools needed to support multiple partnerships. One such developer, ThaiPocketPC, now offers its multi-partnership solution free of charge.

Pocket Multi Partnership Sync allows you to:
Create an unlimited number of partnership "profiles" Easily select which profile to use at each synchronization Store profiles directly on the Pocket PC Automatic restore the default profile after each synchronization
There are several versions of Pocket Multi Partnership Sync, providing for just about any Pocket PC you might be using, including those with MIPS, SH3 and StrongARM processors. This application only requires 70kb of RAM, but it also requires installation of the .NET Compact Framework 1.0 SP1 (Is that very common?).
Similar solutions from other developers cost about $10, making this freebie even more attractive. You can download it here, and there is even a discussion forum for posting comments and questions. If you do give Pocket Multi Partnership Sync a try, please be sure to post your results here, too; I've love to hear what other users think about it.

Sounds interesting. Hopefully it will allow me to have calendar and contacts at home along with my e-mail at work.

While I haven't tried this software yet...
WM2003 includes .Net Compact Framework 1.0. And the .NET Compact Framework 1.0 with SP1 does not appear to be needed to run this app.
However, the author states that some bug fixes provided by microsoft in the SP1 update and they suggest installing it.

Well, it works at keeping my office e-mail apart from my my home calendar and contacts . But only if I remember to SWITCH the partnership before I sync..... I wonder if that can be automated?

I am unable to get Pocket Multi Partnership Sync to work. I have three computers (Home , Work and Laptop) to sync with. I have managed to create the three different profiles in the application, apparently, but whenever I try to sync with one of the three computers, ActiveSync does not recognize a partnership and prompts me to create a new one.
Since Pocket Multi Partnership Sync does not come with any documentation, I can't be sure I am using it properly. Is anybody else out there using this application with success? What other software alternatives (not necessarily free) are there?
