Motion: That Jason Dunn post a message saying these are the last TEC weekend photos to be posted. In the future only a group shot will be available.
All in favour. Motion passed.
With those motions, photographs will no longer be permitted during the TEC weekend, except for one group shot.

Actually, if you reread it, Jason's just being ordered as the webmaster...
Now we know what Jason did in his spare time before PPCT.

I know... it's almost freaky just how much stuff you can find archived. I've found Usenet posts that I wrote more than a decade ago. 8O It's really quite amazing. I also find that several of my old (and now thankfully unused) e-mail addresses are immortalized in the Google Groups archives. Spammers are the single largest reason I've stopped posting to newsgroups. It's just not worth it anymore.

What is TEC? If that was TEC30 and it's currently TEC37, and you're currently 28... does that make you 21 when the picture was taken? 8)

TEC stands for "Teens Encounter Christ" - it's an Anglican-based Christian youth organization desiged to introduce Jesus Christ to young people. Long-weekend events are held twice a year, and in the photo you saw I was working on a team called "SALT" - whose humble jobs included toilet duty. I was involved with TEC from age 17 (when I went on my first weekend) until age 26. I worked on every team except the ministry team (since I'm not a priest), but my favourite was always the worship (music) team. :-)
Since TECs are held twice a year, that makes me around 25 in that picture. I think.
