Default PDAMill Releases GameBox Classics

http://www.handango.com/brainstore/...productId=25287

"The latest complete rewrite of the most popular game-collection for the Pocket PC. Gamebox Classics is a collection of six highly addictive puzzle games to keep your mind stimulated and your stylus tapping! Gamebox Classics features colorful graphics, tons of visual effects, over 20 minutes of music and a very smooth game play. All tailored for the Pocket PC platform for the best experience possible. And most importantly, the games are fun to play!"

This looks like an awesome game pack - the graphics look excellent. I spent a few minutes playing with the games, and they're all extremely well done - great graphics, great sound. $9.95 for six games is a steal! [Affiliate]

This looks like an update of Peter's GameBox. Those were some of the first games I downloaded on my old iPAQ 3650, and I played them for a long time. I don't any more, but my daughter still likes them. These are much better looking, though.

However, I did see one "problem". The old GameBox had eight games, while this only has six. It appears that they removed Mah Jongg and Mah Rivers, which are the two that my daughter plays the most. :-(

Also, there was a bit of strangeness on the Handango Web site. The games are listed as being created by "Futech", not PDAMill. They do show a PDAMill E-mail address, though.

Does anyone know how much memory these games use. Not to make them work but how much space do they take up after they're installed?

The folder size on my CF card is 3,277.71KB, and I think that is all of the files it installs.

Hi Steve,
It is good that you mentioned these.

The reason why Mah Jong is out from new GameBox is that we are just working on a Mah Jong pack (probably GamBox Mah Jong) with more Mah Jong variant.

While Futech is the company name, PDAMill is rather a brand name or what we prefer to be called .

It does look like a worthwhile update - there is also supposed to be a special deal for owners of the original GameBox, which is pretty remarkable given the already decent pricing.
