Pocket Slideshow Updated CNetX has announced that they've updated their popular PowerPoint viewer, Pocket SlideShow, to v1.30.

In case you've never seen it before, this little application is one of the best tools for viewing and rearranging PowerPoint slideshows on the Pocket PC. The great features that have always been part of Pocket SlideShow include:

Automatic file conversion and copying via ActiveSync
Full screen slide viewing in landscape mode
  Support of all transition effects
Support for various attached output devices
  On-slide annotation during presentations

 With v1.30, you now get:

Full compatibility with Windows Mobile 2003 devices (Pocket PC 2003)
Improved support for non-English character sets
  Smaller slideshow file size
Improved VGA adapter support (e.g.: FlyJacket, Toshiba Expension Pack, Voyager VGA, Margi PresenterToGo, etc.)
Support for counter-clockwise full screen rotation

I'd recommend giving this software a look, especially if you give a lot of presentations using PowerPoint. I do, and I find it indispensible for practicing my "pitch" while traveling to conferences and meetings.

Old news or not, it's helpful. A thank you might even be in order.

This is a great site for a tech-ignoramous like me. Thanks for all your hard work.
