Proporta Aluminium Case For Toshiba e740
http://www.proporta.com/detail.asp?id=470
"The Proporta Toshiba e740 aluminium case is beautifully designed and as always is made to meet the exact specifications of the device which it protects. It is made of the finest quality 100% anodised aircraft grade aluminium and completely lined with a soft protective cushioning of neoprene. The flip open panel located at the front ensures full access to the device whilst keeping it protected at all times."

The case isn't quite ready yet but if you order it now, Proporta will send you a free neoprene immediately, yours to keep, to protect your device until the aluminium case arrives. Now that is customer service! The cost is 24.95.

I assume that the smaller e3xx series PDAs could fit in here as well... does Proporta have any intention to produce a case for the e3xx series, or will e3xx owners be forced to buy this case? :?

Does this case also fit the e755? or is that a different size than the e740?

OMGOMGOMGOMGOGMGOM This is awesome I've wanted a metal case for my e740 for a while. I think that the e750 has the same dimensions as the e740 so I guess it would fit. The e3xx won't fit though, unless you want your valuable PDA sliding around on the inside of the case.
Now where's that credit card.....

ROFLMAO
I'm thinking I might need to pick up this case so the next time I get off the phone wth Toshiba's Tech Support (as if they deserved that title  ) and feel like throwing my 740 across the room, I might have a PDA left after the fact! :devilboy:

Just got mine from FedEx yesterday! I'll let you know what I think in a day or two, but my first impression is quite favorable!

I seem to remember that was the case with the iPaq cases (that both Innopocket and Proporta sold the same cases). I think both vendors resell these cases from the same manufacturer.
