Default XDA Camera? Perhaps...

http://www.pocketpcpassion.com/foru...&threadid=32542

If you have an XDA and have always wanted a camera for it, check out this Pocket PC Passion thread. It looks like someone is making one, but there isn't much detail about which markets it will be sold in.

The XDA doesn't have SDIO but apparently this camera takes pictures on a SD card and then the XDA reads the SD card just like any other SD card you have now.

There is probably software that activates and reads the card when you press whatever button to take the picture.

Pretty slick and clever!

Default XDA Camera?

I've been longing for an SD Camera ever since I got my T-Mobile. I passed up the chance to get a digital camera with my HP Jornada. It was neat, but I kept waiting for the price to drop. It never did.

Now that I see how this would be connected, I'm leary. It's at the bottom and it looks like it's pointing at you. Didn't I read a post where a Japanese camera was in the offering? I liked their idea better.

Default XDA Cameras

I have heard that both the XDA and SPV are made by the same manufacturer. Some of my work mates have SPVs and the charger interface is the same, the cradle interface is the same (but the hole is a different shape) and the SPV camera actually fits the XDA (in the connection port). I feel that a Memory card camera limits the expandability of the device because the device only has 64Mb anyway so snapping pics and swapping cards to save them isnt exactly fun. I suppose my question is does anyone know if the SPV camera is technically compatible with the XDA?
